Five members of the award winning Gramercy Brass Orchestra of New York bring their brassy show to Freehold, New Jersey to benefit Freehold EMS. What: Reformed Church of Freehold hosts Gramercy Brass Quintet and Friends in Benefit Concert for Freehold EMS. When: Sunday, April 7, 2019 4:30 P.M Where: Reformed Church of Freehold, 67 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 Five principal members of the Gramercy Brass Orchestra of NY will appear in concert at the Reformed Church of Freehold on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 4:30 PM. With a wide range of musical styles, Gramercy Brass Quintet will offer something for everyone. This year, the Freehold Borough High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Eric Gross will perform a pre-concert show, beginning at 4:15. This promises to be an exciting afternoon. This concert is presented by The Reformed Church of Freehold, 67 West Main Street as a way to support the Freehold EMS. Advertising and sponsorship proceeds will support the Freehold EMS. There is a suggested donation of $20, which will go to support further programs of The Reformed Church of Freehold. Family priced ticket packages are also available. A reception will follow. Gramercy Brass Orchestra of NY, founded in 1982 by John Henry Lambert, is comprised of leading professional brass and percussion instrumentalists in the NY metropolitan area. Gramercy Brass Orchestra records on the eOne Classics label and served as the principal ensemble of the Flatiron Festival of Music. Gramercy Brass Orchestra of NY has also appeared at Lincoln Center, Bard Music Festival, Baruch College Performing Arts Center, Manhattan Center, Gettysburg Festival, Hofstra University Concerts, as well as many NYC Park Concert Series. Gramercy Brass Orchestra of NY has strong and acclaimed music education programs. Gramercy Brass Band Camp is the signature music education program of Gramercy Brass Orchestra of NY.
