FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (March 25, 2019) The public is cordially invited to a presentation on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:00-8:30 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, 1475 W. Front St., Lincroft, sponsored by the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought (MCWRET) on "Jerusalem: The Home in our Hearts". A reading and discussion will be led by Dr. Saliba Sarsar from his newly published book of the same title. Dr. Sarsar, born and raised in Jerusalem, holds a BA in political science and history, as well as a Ph.D. in political science with specialization in Middle East affairs. He is the recipient of several honors, including Award of Academic Excellence (from the American Task Force on Palestine) and the Humanitarian Award (from the National Conference for Community and Justice.) Dr. Saliba is currently a professor of Political Science at Monmouth University and Advisor to the MCWRET Board. A brief annual meeting will follow the program.
