Michael Imperioli’s first novel “The Perfume Burned His Eyes” was published in 2018 by Akashic Books and was translated into both Italian and French editions. The Rome International Literary Festival of 2018 commissioned his short story “New York City �" 33 A.D.” which he read at the Basilica Maxentius in the ancient Roman Forum. His latest shorty story “Yasiri” will appear in Akashic Books’ “The Nicotine Chronicles” anthology which will be published in 2020. Michael was co-screenwriter of Spike Lee’s “Summer of Sam” and writer/director of the film “The Hungry Ghosts”. He also wrote five episodes of “The Sopranos” for HBO and also co-starred as Christopher Molitsanti a role that won him an Emmy Award.
