The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents a virtual (online) program with Arthur L. Finkle, Shofar sounder, author, educator, historian, and mediator discussing Shofar His-tory and Technique, on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 10:30 AM. Admission is free. To make a reservation and obtain the Zoom link, please email the Museum at jhmomc@optonline.net. Finkle, author of Shofar: History, Technique and Jewish Law (2015) and The Easy Guide to Shofar Sounders (2000), will facilitate a discussion and demonstration of the Shofar, its history, musicality, and religious significance. Arthur L. Finkle is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers University with an MGA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in Religious Education from the Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati, Ohio. This program is made possible in part by the Monmouth County Historical Commission through funding from the New Jersey Historical Commission of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
