VIRTUAL PROGRAM LIVE VIA ZOOM VIDEOCONFERENCE How can we take the movement for racial justice to the next level? How do we ensure that the powerful solidarity shown by so many in the wake of the murderous attacks on Black people leads to real change? Part of keeping the movement going is learning more about what it means to live while Black in the US. There are hidden traumas as well as myriad experiences that may not be headlines but nonetheless call for healing. Join the Unitarian Meetinghouse's (uucmc.org) Racial Justice Task Force and the Social Action Film Series for a live program with speakers: Isis Ra- elder, healer, drummer, artist, and child of the Universe; Memone Crystian-Howard U graduate, Red Bank mother, past Director of RB Dept of Parks and Recreation, first African American woman, and youngest, president of Lunch Break Board of Directors; and Gillian Omotoso-singer-songwriter, poet, actress, and Nigerian-American transgender woman. Dr. Carol Penn will open the gathering with a libation ceremony, bringing history and our ancestors to the center.
