Explore your creative vision with Visions a journey of creative exploration… Beverly R. & Michael S. Miller have spent many falls in Acadia National Park and look forward to sharing their passion for photography and this National Park with you. Maine’s Mount Desert Island is home to the first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park. Long before it was established as a national park in 1919, photographers have been drawn to the rugged coast, beauty and diversity of Mount Desert Island. We will explore Acadia National Park and the surrounding areas on this this four-day photography exploration. Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island are a blaze with fall foliage, offer rugged and rocky seascapes, and sunrise and sunset from the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic Coast, at 1,532 feet. Enjoy a late afternoon at Jordan Pond, before relaxing at the Jordon Pond House with tea and their famous baked popovers. Spend time at Sand Beach nestled in a small inlet between the granite mountains and rocky shores. All of this and so much more on Visions of Acadia National Park. Accommodations at the Acacia House Inn a quaint, friendly and funky inn tucked in the heart of town. The Inn will provide us with a scrumptious breakfast with seasonal, local ingredients and afternoon hours d’oeuvres. A 50% deposit is required by June 5th to guarantee the early registration rate.
