Val Dyshlov's Bright Landscapes

Art Alliance of Monmouth County

33 Monmouth St
Red Bank, NJ 07701

Val Dyshlov’s newest landscapes, inspired by travel and the brightness of tropical islands’ nature, sun kissed hills, seaside views, pink houses and beautiful trees, will be on display in the windows of the Art Alliance for the month of September. The paintings are continuation of his series of paintings “In love with Music” inspired by his day-to-day interactions with students at Music Academy. The students at the academy provide Dyshlov with a fantastic musical atmosphere to for his painting. Deshlov find that the power and attraction of music causes a semiconscious flow of movement, feelings and energy that result in the creation of art that is fed from musical, ethereal and external forces that weave throughout his soul. Dyshlov uses texture and layers to thoroughly build the compositions of his paintings. Val Dyshlov was born in Russia, received his MFA degree in Ukraine, exhibited in Moscow, Poland, France, Denmark, Sweden, NYC and the world over. His creative legacy spans drawings, etchings, paintings and other media. Val taught Graphic Arts in his alma mater after graduation until he moved to USA, where he continued teaching. Val's studio students have been admitted to RISD and top schools; they won scholarships. Val' selected graphics are in collection of Zimmerly Museum, Rutgers University, NJ.
